County Executive Jim Smith joined members of the County Council and the County's statehouse delegation at the official Defenders Day event at Fort Howard Park on September 6. This popular event recognized the critical role that Baltimore County citizens played in protecting our young nation's sovereignty at the Battle of North Point on September 12, 1814.
